A darkly thrilling tale of revenge, love, and madness, Sweeney Todd follows the return of Benjamin Barker to Victorian London after years of wrongful exile. Now going by the name Sweeney Todd, he sets up a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett’s struggling pie shop with a sinister plan: to exact vengeance on the corrupt Judge Turpin who destroyed his family. As Todd’s razor brings grim justice to his victims, Mrs. Lovett finds a grisly solution to her meat supply problem—and business has never been better. With haunting melodies and razor-sharp wit, this gripping musical promises an unforgettable evening of suspense and dark comedy. BatTS has employed the services of professional opera singer Louise Winter as Director and professional actress Lily Sitzia as Choreographer. Teamed with our very own opera trained MD Oscar Smith this production is set to be an incredible experience that will bring Sondheim’s musical to life and make your nerves tingle with excitement and fright! Please note that there are adult and scary themes that may make this production unsuitable for very young children, parental guidance recommended.

We found you for the first time last year. Fiddler on the roof. Oh my word, what a fantastic show! Still smile about that evening to this day 😀.
Really enjoyed 'Merrily' - knew nothing about it - a very interesting show and I imagine not an easy one to learn - tricky songs. Clever idea going back in time and I loved 'Our Time'. Well done all.
Gloriously camp, and provocative, Mel Brooks’ smash-hit musical, ‘The Producers’, was everything it promised to be.On a typically chilly night in Battle the musical directed by (Bob Murray) brought us all the glitz, glamour, and sleaze of New York’s Broadway to Battle.
BLOG had pulled the stops out with their production of The Drowsy Chaperone, which is a musical within a musical. The story is related by “Man in Chair” who loves musical theatre and particularly his record of the fictional 1928 production of Drowsy. As he plays it the show comes alive in his living room whilst he wryly comments on the music, the story and the actors.
